A Humanist naming ceremony is designed to acknowledge our responsibility as adults to all children, enlists the guide-parents (or whatever title you fancy) as the child's and the parents' first port of call for help and support.

It aims to give everyone present the opportunity to express their love and wishes for the child's future.
